Anybody played through any that sound decent to good for a reasonable price? Just curious.. I would like to reload my cabs but vintage 30's are out of my league right now.. Any Ideas?

Warehouse Guitar Speakers. I've tried the Vet 30s and ET65s and I think both are great. I've heard good reviews for most of their speakers.

define cheap.

are you looking for used speakers?

IMO, it's tough to beat used Emi Redcoats/Patriots.

My Manowars were $45 a piece shipped/paypalled.

I'm pretty sure, I paid a similar price for

Swamp Thangs
Tonkers
Red white and blues
Wizards

Used WGS speakers are dirt cheap too!

+1. I like the Vet30's and ET-65's a lot, too.

I had never even heard of these speakers before!! Thanks guys I think I might load a cab with them and see what they sound like.. Thanks..

Eminence and Warehouse have excellent speakers that rival some Celestion and higher end stuff(if you can even call celestion high end still), and they offer em at great prices. Especially the Warehouse stuff. The have "copies" of celestion V30's, H30's, G12-65's, Greenbacks, CL80's and more.

Jensen MOD apparently good bang for buck
ive got a 12-70 on the way so hopefully be able to "chime" in

Veteran 30s and Retro 30s are WGS's two different versions of Vintage 30s.

Vet 30s - are darker, softer, and removes some of the mid spike of the Vin 30s.

Retro 30s - bring back some of the bite the Vets remove, has even less of the mid spike, and are tighter and faster attack than both the others. I guess it's the "clearest" sounding speaker out of the 3. I was going to sell a quad, but decided to keep them.

Yeah the vet 30's seem to be the way to go.. I think that's what I'm going to do.

Check out Carvin V12s Vintage $29.00

Have you tried these? There's not much info on the carvin site about them. No specs at all except wattage.. Weird..

I had a quad of them. I blew out 3 of them with a 1000w Carvin amp ( I dont know how or why   )
Sounded good for having them in a pair of home made ADA looking cabs.
