CL80

I've been really diggin this 112 cab with the CL80 and am thinking about ditchin the 412s for some 212s,I am really really lovin the CL and love how smooth it seems with the MOD,so hows everyone diggin there eggie 212s and what speakers do you guys use?
 
Jason, I have to agree now that I have some volume/time on it. Really diggin' the tone with the 112 and CL80.

I know Jeff really likes the new WGS Veteran 30 speakers. Maybe two of those or a mix of the 30 and the 80. I have a WGS Veteran 30 (16 ohm) I'd ship to you for like $35 if you are interested. I like it alot, I just don't have a cab for it at the moment.

I was playing the seminar head threw the 112 and it just kills to maybe another 112 :doh:
Small,lite,sounds fucking killer!!!What the hell am I waitng for GEZZZZ!!!!
 
Seriously contemplating outing the two v30s in mine and going with a CL80 / Warehouse Veteran combo....I couldn't get used to the CL80 on it's own in the 1x12...but am thinking this mix would kill..am actually thinking of wiring a stereo jack so I could go into each speaker separately at some point.

I run 2 v30s / 2 G12H30 in my Randall 4x12....love that combo too :D

Yeah, that's why I'm not in a hurry to sell mine. I've got my MKIV head sitting on top on it and it sounds fucking insane though it.
 
The Egnater 212 comes with v30s as standard, but Id be interested in doing 1 v30, 1 cl80 if I ended up getting one. I agree that the CL80 sounds awesome in the 112.

channel 4 brings out the hessian in me, and sounds so wicked since i got it back from the eggie crew!
do i detect some EG5-ness in there?

channel 2 is the only one in the bunch that on it's own still seems goofy to me, but when i hit it with a compressor, it just becomes so interesting and valvey...it's got a sprig of vox in there, plump yet toothy in a brit way.
but i has to have the compressor for that one.

and anyone with a eg3/4 module owes it to themselves to at least try out a bb preamp in front of that.

It sounds bad cause the phase is really off with these 2 speakers!
