Looking to get a db boost for channel 2 for solo's. Ive tried using my fulltone fat boost but I get no volume increase. Can anyone recommend a clean boost to boost volume/db's. Thanks

Best boost in the world:
Creation Audio Labs Mk.4:23 and if you can find the "Pro" model, all the better.

Thank me later

What he said

Suhr Iso boost works great too

Stick to Xotic pedals, they are the best made. If you have an Xotic BB MB, Xotic AC Comp, RC and EP Boost, you can do just about anything!

Hey just curious to see what your thoughts were on this particular boost pedal, I checked it out online and I'm considering picking one up as well. Also are you using it in front of the amp or in the loop to get a volume boost? Thanks for any feedback!

CAL Mk.4:23 is unlike any boost pedal in the world. It's awesome.

OP, let us know what you think when you can, eh?

Cheers Cats,
Mo

Unfortunately, I received it and it did not work so I have to send it back for a new one,

Did you buy it direct from Creation Audio?

Yes sir! They are sending me a new one. But I was a bit bummed to spend $150 and have it show up DOA.

You won't get any increased volume from a boost in front of a distorted amp, you just get more saturation/distortion.
Put the boost in the loop

+1 Just get a used EQ pedal, pop it in the loop and you'll be a happy camper. Plus you can tweak the tone for more mids so the lead will pop sonically.

Hey man I remembered this thread from a while back and am actually looking to get a clean boost for my TJ's effects loop in the next few weeks. Just wanted to see how you eventually made out with the CAL MK 4:23 and how well it works as a volume boost in the Twin Jet effects loop. Thanks for the help.

It works great!!! I run this with my time factor on and just hit my fx button on the foot switch for solo's, I highly recommend no coloration just the amps tone boosted!

Good deal dude, thanks for the reply. Im probably going to pick up a CAL 4:23 in the next month or so...after I restock the finances a bit (been buying a little to much gear lately...).
