My marshall 1960AX has a jack that has only two terminals. Can I use one with four terminals (two on each side) to replace it? and which terminals do I use? thanks!
This below is what is stock.. would I just use the same side of a 4 terminal jack?

The ones with four terminals are switched jacks. Plug a jack into it while looking at those blades over the top - with no plug inserted the tab on left is connected to the tab on the right. With a jack plugged in, the blades on top lift up, and disconnect from the tab on the other side.

Fine to use these in place of non-switched, just make sure you wire up the correct tabs -the ones touching the inserted jack. Use a multimeter in continuity mode to confirm if you’re unsure from looking at it.

thanks.. it looks like the two on the right side in the pic above are the ones to use and the other side is the shunt... I'll give it a try
