I bought this a long time ago but never managed to get it where I wanted it...tube swaps, cap changes whatever...it was either not clean enough for cleans or not touch sensitive enough on gain...cool harmonic content but not really aggressive enough for me.

I *finally* got around to installing my G12K85s that I got from RockStarNick (I think)...wow, what a difference.

The cab previously has a mix of v30/G12T75, v30/Egnater E80 then v30/WGS ET65 then WGS GB/ET-65s and now, finally G12k85/ET-65s. I also have a cab with v30/G12h30s in....

I basically gave up on the touch sensitive, clean harmonic overtone thing it's supposed to do...maybe I can dial it at some point but the G12k85s seem to give it the girth/aggressive tone it needed for me...I thought I was on a completely different module when I first plugged in it was almost night and day.

I know...cool speaker (story) bro...and there's no clips...but hey

Yep, I have Celestions new version, the G12K-100s in my Randall. Unreal speakers!!!!

I have G12K-85s in my 2 X 12, and the COD has a very special, unique voice with low-output single-coils.

Glad you're liking them!

K85s and K100s are just great speakers. K100's slay in 112 cabs.

K85s especially are oldies but goodies.

I had a Marshall 4X12 with G12k-85. They are quite good. Very unique.
