COD on the way....Finally

Well I finally got my COD module. I've been infatuated with it ever since I played it at Bruce's shop a couple years ago. I'm really looking forward to playing this one. I have been so happy with my other modules, I wasn't in a hurry to get any more. But we all know how that works with this modular stuff--it's like crack! Only problem: I have way more modules that slots to put them in. 3 in the Mod 100 and 2 in the Mod 50. Who is going to sell me an M4????? Anyone???? :D

That's great - I think you're really going to like it. I can't believe how much I use mine for leads rather than my SL2 and EG3/4. It has a nice midrange and smooth highs that sound great for leads. It cuts without being buzzy - as long as you don't use too much treble. The treble is very sensitive, especially with single coils in the bridge position. With humbuckers, it's more forgiving.

Put a JP 5751 in the V1 slot and you'll be rewarded with an alternate clean sound in channel A. It's warm and fat, a nice contrast to the VX's sparkle and the T/D's pristine cleans.

Another one that can join the ranks of the Bman and VX as an all in one module.

I'm definitely looking forward to it. I am looking for a different lead tone and from what I remember when I played it, it may be just what I'm looking for. We shall see.
I have an extra jp5751 sitting here so I will probably pop it in V1 and see what happens. I'm a bit of a treble nazi so I don't forsee me cranking the treble on this. I do not run any of the modules over 12:00 on treble. I like a warmer overall tone.

Thanks!
