I always get confused by the color codes.

I recently ordered GRY for mesa mark IV. What about a rectifer rev f?

Unlike the Marks, the bias in the various generations of Rectos has always been pretty consistent. For 6L6- GRY is as hot as I'd go which is generally mid-high 30ma range. GRN is low 30s, YEL mid high 20s.

Alright. So I’ll just order a set more for the recto.

are the GRY good for Mark IV?

On the MkIV, the Class A/B pair is essentially the same as a Rectifier in terms of bias. This is different from the A/B pair on Mark IIs and IIIs where you generally want to stop at GRN, however I did have one IIC+ that I had to stop at YEL is it is worth testing your Mark as they're not as consistent.

On the MkIV Class A pair I would stop at GRN when using 6L6. These are biased a LOT colder than the Class A pair on Mark IIs and IIIs where you essentially just want RED, maaaaybe YEL but I'd want to test that on the amp.
