Combo Battle: Peavey Valveking 2x12 VS. Traynor YCV50Blue

I can get a Valveking 2x12 100w combo for around $400, but I know I would want to upgrade the tubes and speakers. I could also get a Traynor YCV50Blue for about $500 and it comes with a Vintage 30. Which would you guys go for? I can't really spend more than about $500.

I will be playing in a "rock" band (punk-, hard-, stoner-, etc.) so it has to be able to hang with a Dual Rec through a Recto 2x12, bass and drums. Any and all suggestions and comments welcome.

That Traynor is a great amp. Between the two I'd go for the canadian all day long.

Also have the matching closed back 112 extension cabinet, Brand New in the box, for an additional $225 shipped.
