Hello,
I am pretty new to the crazy MIDI footswitch stuff but I want to see if I can have just one footpedal (i have a FCB1010 already) and use it to channel switch the amp and turn like 3 FX pedals on or off based on some preset 'patch.'
I would really like to hide everything in the back of the Mod50 since theres a ton of room and can easily fit the footpedals inside with a little room left (if I stack 'em). I'm trying to keep it simple here so I dont have all this crap to hook up or lug around, which is why I got the Mod50 in the first place.
I have seen some rack-mounted MIDI audio switchers, but they have far too many outputs and a unit that large probably wont fit in the amp
I was looking at possibly using one of the small 'shunt-to-ground' amp MIDI switchers (which DON'T pass audio) and just hacking the actual switch inside the pedal since most are either pull-up or pull-down (usually easy to do).
The other option is to do the audio loop switching. THe only one I found that may fit is this guy: http://www.glab.com.pl/midi_4xloop_en
Any suggestions on what I should do?
Thanks,
Phil
