Compensated line out without a cab?!

Hi all,

been quite an observer of this forum but now I have a question which I cannot find via the search functionality here...
I know there was a discussion going on here about using herbie without a cab and if it damages the head...

Well I have herbie now at home and don't have a cab here
I'd like to use the compensated line out but I am afraid of turning the head on without a cab plugged in...

Is there some sort of an..."adapter" I can plug into as a dummy?

You need a load box like the Weber Mass: http://www.tedweber.com
or a THD Hotplate . . .

wow the thd costs as much as a 1x12 box.
I just wanted to hear something by routing throug the pc...for that price I can simply buy a cab.

Although for recording stuff this seems very interesting!
Do you have a german link to ted weber products??

offers some "load-burners" (or so) - a king of fat ass resistors.
