it's a great amp! I had one but, took it back to get my renegade, I miss it. I loved the sound of the clean, with the gain cranked. Egnater is really putting out some great amps IMHO

I was going to get a Tweaker but went for a Rebel 30, then took it back and got a Renegade. You get more bang for your buck. To make the Renegade perfect I would change the boost function for a channel blend and turn the amp head upside down to help cool the valves. The Tweaker is a good looking amp in head and cab form, the Renegade looks ugly. For a first bedroom valve amp I'd still go for a Rebel 30. and while I'm at it Egnater, PLEASE start putting a separate cable on your foot-pedals instead of the hard wired ones...........Please, the Renegade is a lot of money and the foot-pedal cable is so cheap.

i got to say that the more i play mine the better it sounds and with active pups its even better - who says ya cant do metal on a tweaker
