Cool tonez alert: karl sanders IR’s!

Reallyyyyy digging these big time. There’s 5-6 different cabs from two notes, this is his 72 Marshall cab with creamback 65s, mic’d with a single sm57. 5150 for the low tuned, thrashy clip is a 5150 and maxon OD. One super low tuned, the other thrashy. Very very little eq, mostly high and low pass. These sound huge, especially the low tuned clip.

I wanted to try this cab specifically because it’s the actual cab he’s using on the new record being mixed right now. Two notes captured the top left speaker, the new record was mic’d using the top right. They are both extremely similar though from what I understand. Just really quick shitty takes but damn I’m a fan. 10 bucks, can’t beat it.

Give the new link a try homie, they are both 5150s, the 5153 clip wasn’t working for whatever reason.


The new album is an Engl invader with a radial plexi boost believe it or not ha. Not my thing, but it definitely works for them. Single 57 on the creamback 65 top right speaker of this cab, invader pickups like normal. Splawn pro comp on leads.

Absolutely phenomenal sounding. His 900 cab/GT75s are fucking money, so good.
