Cornford RK100 Tube Bias Question

I got a Cornford RK100 recently that sounds amazing and came with 6CA7’s. I want to try 6L6’s in it. There’s a 6L6 bias switch and wanted to ask if anyone here would know what range would be good for those tubes in it? The 6CA7’s as is in it measure in the upper 30’s to 40. I emailed Victory with the same question, but didn’t hear back from them. Thanks in advance!

I think you cannot use an out-of-nowhere bias value like that. You could do the method where you measure the center tap to plate resistance then the voltage drop and use the formula to know the mA value. Then you turn the bias pot until the mA value is right for 70% dissipation. It's very simple, I did it with my SLO a week ago. You just need the RK100 schematic to know where to put the multimeter probes. If you need more info, I can guide you thru the process.

That sounds a bit beyond what I know how to do honestly, not having the best tech skills lol. I just know basically how to bias my amps when needed and measure unloaded plate voltage from the top
