What would be the best module for the dirty country/rock tone? I don't mean like overdriven deluxe 1960s honky-tonk dirty. I'm playing in a cover band and we do some Shania Twain and Faith Hill covers. I'm thinking maybe the SL or SL2? It's probably a safe bet to assume those guys use Marshalls for the dirties, no?

ya the SL is got a bit of Plexi to it not much...the EG3/4 might do it well. Back in the day the Egnater TOL 100 was the hottest amp for Brent Mason, Huff and those studio guys using channel 3.

The EG3/4 would work... I'd get some nice heavier tones out of it too! Hmmmm...

Egnater stuff is great, but it creates some stressful decision-making!

Vox module with a OD pedal could get you some good stuff too.
