I love the look of that Suhr myself. But, that is a ridiculous price. Seems like it'd be more appropriate if the price were cut in half.

I'm in the minority. I think it's a badass guitar and would gig it if it was mine. I dig that the body is a solid piece of flame maple and that the neck is one piece of cocobolo. You don't see that very often. Years ago I had a BCR Mockingbird with solid quilt maple wings, the neck was quilted maple too. It played and sounded awesome and wasn't as heavy as you would think it would be. Unfortunately I ended up pawning it because at that time I was pretty irresponsible with my finances and needed some fast cash.

I don't mind the flame maple body or fancy neck wood. But the finish with that Pickguard make it seem pretentious somehow, but it does make a statement and looks very expensive, so I see why some would like it. Lose the pickguard and give it a standard cherry sunburst finish, and I think it'd be much more appealing, but then it's not as unique.
