Custom cab for Diezel - what type of wood to choose?

I want to get a custom detuned cab with V30s, which is a closed back cab with a front opening. Either 4x12 (the size of the thing scares me, it's like 6x12) or 2x12(which is like 4x12 size).

I can choose from:
Mahogany
Walnut
Sapelle
Oak
Maple

Any idea what would match Herbie better?
Any other advice?

its definitey different to ebony! its very much cheeper as ebony! its the most popular export-wood from africa!

Gabun ist ein wenig tragfähiges Holz mit geringer Darrdichte von 350-540 kg/m³ bei einem Durchschnitt von 420 kg/m³. Trocknet schnell bei geringer Schwindung und arbeitet kaum. Verfügt über geringe Biegefestigkeit, mittlere Druckfestigkeit und ist praktisch nicht zum Dampfbiegen geeignet. Weder sehr alterungsbeständig noch resistent gegen Zerfall.
Verarbeitung Läßt sich recht gut von Hand und maschinell bearbeiten, stumpft Werkzeuge aber stark ab. Fasern neigen beim Hobeln und Stemmen unregelmäßiger Stellen auf radialgeschnittenen Oberflächen zum Aufrichten. Läßt sich ohne Schwierigkeiten nageln und kleben.
Das Splintholz ist anfällig für Befall durch den Splintholzkäfer. Das Holz ist nicht alterungsbeständig und resistent gegen Holzschutzbehandlung.

Peter Stapfer told me it was a layering of Poplar and Okoume wood.

Okoume is in the family of mahogany from what I could research...I'm not postive on this it was a very quick "research" and was a few weeks ago.
