If anyone is interested in an absolutely unique Diezel Custom Amp (VH4 forerunner I guess)
Everything except the Headshell and the chassis is new (even the transformers – the new ones are from DRAKE).
The amp has 50 watts (2 6L6 tubes) and 3 channels which get their sound out of 8 12AX7 preamp tubes. Don’t believe that the amp isn’t loud enough, it’s as loud as my Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier. The clean has got plenty of headroom, don’t worry.
The whole amp is handsoldered and point to point, this garanteers highest quality and best sound. Each channel has it’s own Tonestack (Bass, Middle, Treble) and an own Volume and Gain poti. Global potis are Master and Presence.
Because of the 3 channels (which can be footswitched by usual ¼“ mono jacks) the amp is very versatile. The cleanchannel is little bit more Fender-Twinlike than the normal VH4, very great Cleansound! The other two channels sound like the VH4 nowadays.
The amp’s tubes are nearly new. The power amp tubes got 8-9 hours, the pre amp tubes maximum 20 hours of playtime.
By the way, the amp has been signed by Jim Marshall (front) and Peter Diezel (back).
