Custom Faceplates Egnater 2ch module-UPDATED 10-29-10

Hey everyone,

Some of you may know I have been making custom faceplates for Randall modules. Recently, I started working on designs for Egnater dual channel modules. I've attached some samples below, most get customized to each persons preferences. I have a plethora of design ideas, so what you see is NOT all that's available. I'll also finish the rest my "stock" designs of all the Egnater modules and add them to this thread. Custom designs are welcome too. Have a design idea? Let's make it happen.

Those are pretty nice!

A couple of questions though....

1.) Are the Marshall faceplates (i.e., SL and SL2) actually gold like a real Marshall panel, or are they a flat yellow finish like the pictures?

2.) Shouldn't the SL2X be a chrome/silver panel, similar to the Jubilee faceplates?

3.) Pricing?.....You should post it up as well!

The Marshall plates are actually metallic gold/yellow. The color matches a Marshall fairly accurately. I was using another gold, but it was darker. It looked good, especially with Marshall knobs, but not as close to the real thing.

I used the black/gold color scheme for the SL2X because I made a single channel plate for a fellow MTS forum member. If they are supposed to be silver then that wouldn't be any problem.

Cost is $25 each. I'll also give a $5 discount for every donor plate I receive. If a customer wanted 3 plates made and donates his/her plates to me to be refinished then the cost is $20 each.

Thanks for keeping this thread alive. Unfortunately, nobody's biting. Maybe too over-the-top for the Egnater crowd? :confused:
 
I think no one is biting because we wanna see an actually pic of a finished product, and not just the graphic for it. I myself am really interested in getting a BUNCH. But I wanna see the reAl deal. Also the faceplates are nice , but it is hard to get nice looking knobs that also have a mini version.

Good point! Unfortunately, I have only 1 plate on hand I can finish. Any of the posted designs interest you?
