Hi guys,

I wanted to see if possible to order a custom pedalboard. I have not been using my Egnater for gigs. Instead I have been using my VHT ST/50 because it is more convenient due to the pedalboard design which has access to a boost and a button to turn on/off the loop.

Is it possible to have one made by Egnater? If not a boost....at least the buttom to turn the effects loop off like the VHT FC-5 pedalboard?

I don't know if the Renegade type pedalboard where you assign the effects loop to a channel would work because I would want the loop on for some clean and heavy leads.

Anyone done this?

just buy a small midi footcontroller.. if you can find a used axess mfc5 you're laughing.. open up the mod 50 and set the mode to CC instead of PC. the mfc5 can send up to 8 cc messages PER footswitch.

Thanks Casey! So, could that turn the effects loop on/off....or at least turn off the effects in the loop? The idea is to not have to carry the two extra 20' cables I bring along for connecting my board to the loop. I only use delay with modulation. Right now it is great how I use my VHT. I have cut down on the extra cable I had running to the loop by just sitting my delay on the amp head and controlling from the pedalboard which has a loop on/off switch.

With this, I can simulate the same thing? It would have to be able to control the head as well...because I don't want something extra on my board and an extra cable. LOL.

RockStarNick was saying a used Nobels ALEX looper and a small footswitch.

I just want to eliminate the added cables I have for the loop runs.

Hey Rich,

I think you are thinking more of a midi controlled switcher. Yes?

For example: Voodoo Lab or G-Lab.

If you are running to pedal level effects using a LLS, then you would run the loop send to the LLS, out to the switcher. Connect your effects to the send and returns of the switcher. Then connect the output of the switcher to the LLS, finally out to the return of the Mod50.

On the floor, you would have a midi foot controller that would send program changes, instant access, CC's, etc. to the Mod50 and switcher simultaneously.

This would allow you "turn off" the loop from the floor, control which effect hits the loop when, switch channels on the amp, etc. You could incorporate a boost into one of the switches for a lead boost.
