Hello shred fetishists!
Wanted to share my latest instrumental head-cuttin' session, "Something In the Water", with guest soloist Jeff Mallon.
https://soundcloud.com/andeeblacksugar/ ... ater-andee
Jeff is an old friend of mine from Pennsylvania (hence, the track's title), whose slippery, effortless legato licks grace the right speaker on this head-cuttin' track. I had a blast playing against his solos!
I played my custom Blacksugar Strat thru a few AFX2 presets (EuroRed, #017, was the last one I used). Also used my Eventide Pitchfactor with the stun knob control on the guitar. All the instruments other than guitars were programmed by me using various VSTs in Cubase.
Pretty sure Jeff used his Carvin Tele, but not sure about amps/FX. Will have to get back to you on this.
If you hear a little Richie Kotzen in jeff's playing, it's probably cuz he studied with Richie in his early years...

As always, my solos are in the left speaker and the guest's are on the right side.
Thanks for checking it out, love Andee
