D/D Module Questions

Hey Guys-

I decided I can't part with my Mod50. So, instead, I've decided to buy another module

I'm interested in the D/D module and I have a few questions. Is there sufficient clean headroom in a gigging situation? How does the clean headroom compare to the B'Man? VX?

IME, more than both of those.

Yeah, I'm with Gene.

Especially if you keep the ChA master cranked, and use the GAIN control as your volume. (almost turning it into a non-master volume channel)

You can get it plenty loud, and crystal clear.

VX is the dirtiest of these 3, then BMAN, then DD the cleanest.

'Course, it also depends on what guitar you're pushing the D/D with.

With a Strat or Tele with low-output single coils you have clean headroom up to about 1:00 or 2:00 on the gain knob. HBs and hotter pickups will run you out of clean headroom sooner.

Agreed . . . LP/moderately high output pups, which is what I use with my B'man module.
