The D-Moll arrived a day early!
I had about an hour to crank it up and check it out...holy moly
Now I glow all the time about my amps and sounds, but it's not often I fall immediately in love..I usually take some time dialing before that happens.
In this case, I knew from the first moment it was the exact tone, feel, and response I have been chasing in my head.
Every channel is inspirational. I'm usually luke warm on my amp cleans- but this clean had me spin my head around looking for an fx unit that was not there. It had this huge 3D effect that just enveloped me and was startling. No fx, just tonal depth.

The hi gain sound was outrageous, so clear and punchy. I can't wait until I can open it up again tomorrow and let it rip

Congratulations dude ! Great amp for sure !
I am a big fan of the clean channel break-up with gain around 2-3 o'clock, and neck pick-up.

The amount of gain on channel 2 & 3 is insane. Once you crank it up, it's hard to accept to play at low volumes the time after.

I almost use no more FX since I got Dmoll.

Enjoy.

Hey man, congratz! If I may ask, what cab are you using with the d-moll?

I'm using a rearloaded Bogner 4x12 with v30's, only i'm not diggin the sound.

It's way too flubby and undefined in the lower region, thinking about switching to the FL diezel cab

cheers,

For reference check out this vid:

Are you also getting these awesome thick sounds with your d-moll?

I'm miles and miles away from it for some reason, really hoping it has something to do with my rearloaded cab :aww:

That video has a camera mic backed up & getting lots if room boom, but yeah, it sounds like it.
I'm running into a Krank 4x12 with legends & heats, I think it's front mounted. It was a 1off leftover that was made for NAMM last year- it sounds awesome. I like the legends, but the heats are decent in combo

Never played through a bogner but maybe it's a bad match? Idk good luck

congrats on the Dmoll, glad it was what you hoped for. Haven't tried one, but sounds badass.

Thanks! This amp seems to have the best qualities of my favorite tones. It can get more Recto chainsaw than I would have thought, but (thankfully) can be dialed out for much more clarity. It has a great little squish that Peavey amps have, just a bit to make the feel perfect. Best of all, it sounds huge on the low end and is super clear! LOVE IT!
