The sound guy captured this direct through the mixing desk from one of our gig's. This the D-Moll running through a Two Notes Torpedo Live direct. No cabs and no ambient.

D-Moll Live

Great voicing from the D moll. Works well for the tude and vibe of the song. Kinda wiry and nasty grind.

 Sounds great.. It's amazing how versatile the amp is..
I assume you are using channel two, what are the general settings?
Is that a phaser? if so, are you running in front or in the loop?

No phase. Tremonti wah up front and a short delay in the loop. Channel 2.

you guys sound great!
you're in Saudi right, where the hell do you gig there? In the compound/base I'm assuming?

That one was on a large expat compound. There's a dozen or so of them around. We play over in Bahrain at the clubs as well.

would look like this you weren't on compound

Sounds awesome! What guitar did you play on this?

Man, I honestly don't remember. I am thinking it was an ESP KH2 with EMG's.

Well done man.
You made me buy a D-moll, and now I want the TNTL so bad...

Pretty sure it is actually a vh4 in there... ;) and I'm out!

With all due respect as well but your understanding of "rock n roll" needs a bit re-adjusting I think... it is a silly, innocent joke, no need to blow this out of proportion with some "sensitivity" bullshit. Here is a photoshop alternative, go hog wild yourself.

I recently got one and cannot recommend it enough! I love it.

OK kahawe, I have not heard ONE SINGLE DUDE saying TNTL is useless or bad...
How can I escape ???

Let's see what is left in the wallet... (Christmas is close).

It might be a clever choice to get a TNTL instead of another cab...

I can see why some people might prefer a real cab and prefer the sound/feel/response of actually playing in a room, hearing and feeling it and I can also see why some would rather go with an axe or kemper because of the versatility. It's like different paths to more or less the same goal, getting a good sounding direct-out you enjoy playing.

I mainly wanted something that is easy to record for what crappy tracks I am punishing logic with and I tried quite a few different softwareplugins which I mostly hated even when paired with redwirez, I tried a pod hd which was alright but seemed to lag and occasional bitcrush while recording and overall the right "feel" just wasn't there. I have also had some strange issues with a thd loadbox so I been down that road as well and it had no balanced out nor a headphone jack or IR. I got to say, for what it is the tntl just rocks and it is so much easier to just hook up the balanced out (or spdif) or plug in headphones and play or record your real amp at any time of the day you feel like it. Looking back, I have basically been looking for a tntl all that time. I posted one or two links on here of my crappy playing with a vh4 and the tntl pretty much on factory settings and it was already very usable and when dual-tracked it just sat right, so it is really idiotproof even for this here idiot! :)

You should at least give it a try, thomann got moneyback anyways or session has it in store. ;)

Two Notes seems like a pretty cool idea to me. Kinda bridges that middle ground between traditional amp setup &/or using an AxeFX. I guess more and more people are self-producing to a very high standard from the comfort of their own home nowadays. This sort of device takes quite a few variables out of the question in terms of atmosphere & MIC movement etc.

Good device to purchase if you're already kitted out with a decent backline & want to start laying down decent guitar tracks from your bedroom without stripping paint off the walls a causing elderly neighbors to involuntarily defecate.

Ok guys, I'll go for a 30 days moneyback and give it a try.
But looks like you guys should give me your gear list 'cause I will end up getting exactly what you use.
Thanks.

sounds great steve, the two notes makes life onstage alot easier and really helps with my monitoring. i use the headphone out to one channel of my shure in ears and then take a band mix into the other. with triple driver headphones it sounds pretty good

Fax: Got the dmoll? Then vh4 next up :P

Yep, Dmoll is there, 2x12 RL v30 also, 2x12 FL G12K100 ordered.
Will try to get the TNTL next week from Thomann, instead of multiple cabs...

And if you or Steve make a killer clip of VH4 then I am dead...

Steve's sound on this one is what I am looking for.

Steve you rock man
