What I like most about it is that it doesn't take much twisting on the gain levels for channel 2 and 3. I am set up with the gain dimed on channel 1. Lots of balls with a big, thick and chewy Brit flavor. With channel 2 and 3, you only need to run the gain around 9:00-10:00 and use the channel masters to bring out the goods. Keeps things thick and cutting with all the gain you need - even with the mid cut engaged. It's almost impossible to make this amp sound thin. Maybe its because of the Herbie trannies Peter is using in it. It is very easy to dial up the levels across all 3 channels too in order to make full use of the amp in a live setting. And, the loop, well....it's a Diezel. I keep a short, one repeat ambient delay running all the time. Good stuff.....
