Damn UPS!!

Bastards smashed in the corner of my Mod 50 chassis!!.......man am I fuming.........sorry but I just had to vent.

They did a similar job the first time it was shipped and the transformers were crooked and the chassis was bent.
 
Oooooh, that sucks!!!

Speaking of bashed up amps, have you seen the crazy Bogner Uberschall guy on youtube that beats up his new Uber? Supposedly that was a UPS scam because they damaged the head slightly so he beat it apart and got a new one, courtesy of UPS...
 
Seriously ... that just sucks man. Really sory for your pain. Keep us posted on how they (UPS)handle this.
 
Jeff is going to handle it from his end. I've taken 19 pictures per Jeff's request and am going to send them up. I'll let you guys know. I'm just sick............

It was bubble wrapped, surrounded by peanuts and a layer of 3/4" hard insulated sheet on top and bottom.
 
That sucks huge!WTF is going on with these shipping folks,I shipped jeff my MHG and it's now a F%$#*&ng MIA :doh:

Frank said my Mod50 & 2-1x12's would be ready in about 2 weeks. Is there any way you can use FedEx?

My friend has a huge pro audio equipment company and sells /ships alot of high end audio gear all over the country. He stopped using UPS because of the over abundant amount of breakage and grief they have caused him. He switched to FedEx and rarely has a problem.

What a fucking joke. I hate UPS with a passion, but sometimes they are necessary unfortunately. When my DC-10 combo arrived, luckily all that was broken was a knob snapped off, so I didn't even bother trying to file a claim or anything with em'. If something like what happened to you happened to me, I'd be absolutely FURIOUS!!

I had a Vendetta head shipped by fedex from cinnci to Ottawa ,Can. NOT a problem and that amp is heavy as hell and extremely awkward in a box.

Now UPS has lost tons of my stuff, and caused me numerous headaches from stupidity. it goes something like this //

Me: I work everyday and wont be home, how about I pick it up at the depot.

Ups .Sir, we have to deliver to the address.

Me. But no one is there during the day, I work closer to the depot .I got a notice yesterday saying failed delivery, but im telling you guys no One is there .

UPS: Sir we have to attempt to deliver 3 times so we will try again tommorrow.

me. Well since ive told you .no one is there ,and you wont change address to bring it to my work, what happens then .??

Ups: after 3 failed attemps you can pick it up next week at the depot ...

I do know one thing "THE GUYS AT EGNATER WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU" :D
 
We will be shipping via Fed Ex from now on. We are also going to foam injected ends bottom and sides for packing. We will do this with new amps and with return amps if being serviced. We will throw away any box that products are shipped to us and use our new packaging, just so this can not happen. Not that your packing was not good, anyone or specifically Kevin..we just want things to be right.

A Big +1000 on that! They are stepping up big time. I'm sooooooo appreciative of their efforts. I mean, beside the kick ass tone and features on this amp, plus the customer service, I honestly don't see me looking for or needing another amp for a long while. And I've always been one to keep a look out for the next cool amp. I don't even cruise the amp classifieds any more......well, not much anyway....more for curiousity sake. The desire for a "new" amp is just not there.

This is great to hear! Especially as I just ordered a MOD50 from Jeff to be shipped to Europe :thumbsup:
 
MORONS!! I told the girl on the phone that I'd put the package on the back deck because it was supposed to rain this morning (and it was). She said she'd note it to the driver. Well, there the notice is plastered to my front door and there the package sits on the deck under the cover!!
