Both my parents retired from their as well, I took a buyout at a young age. Don't regret that. I've worked at a few other auto industry plants.
Alright, I'll tell... we're not really doing much different quality wise. QI's are on par with China, which is why our cars probably break down more than imports. There's some give and take, but what I'm saying is true for any other industry as well.
My Ford comment is that he'd be angry at how the plants have ran the last 50-60 years. Again, I'm talking quality.
