I pm'd you. Just letting you know you aren't getting the run around. Don't worry about a couple days or even couple weeks. Peter is good people, and know that no one has been stiffed on a diezel before. They take time. Let me assure you, you don't want it thrown together real quick! I was promised a 2-3 month delivery when i ordered my herbert. It took almost 8 months. And i was given the run around from my dealer. I would check in every two weeks to see if it was in and i would get the same response "oh i contacted diezel, it will only be a few more weeks". That went on for 5 months.

I have the amp now, but i still cant play it because a power cord was not shipped with the amp. Also i ordered the herbert with the cab. I wanted them to be sent together. But then i found out from the dealer, that, diezel is backordered on cabs. :doh: :doh: :doh:

As of now, the dealer promised that he shipped the power cord (which he had the nerve to tell me to go buy one from radio shack) and the cab should be here in a week or so.

I know the wait is long for these amps, i just hate it when a dealer promises it sooner and they dont deliver on time and just push the blame to the manufacturer. Call me crazy, but i just hate being lied to. Just tell me straight that it will take 5 more months or whatever, i can deal with that.

Needless to say, up to this point it has been a disappointing experience. I only hope once i get the cab and power cord, the amp is as good as everyone says.
 
It is a UNIVERSAL power cable. It should have came with it regardless. But everyone has several sitting around their house. If worse comes to worse, call me, I'll send you one on my own dime! As for broken promises, can't help whats happened, but I will be happy to do whatever. Diezels are awesome and deserve their respect. Herberts are my favs of the line up!

Dont get the wrong idea, you weren't the dealer i purchased the amp from :) .

Im just venting my frustrations over how long it took to get the amp.

No matter how long the wait is guys: Every time I play my Herbert, I just laugh at all other amps I have owned / played before.
 
We have Herberts on stock, but first want to be charged for the last shipment ;)
 
you by chance have a replacement for my herbert? im still waiting for one form uwe after mine freaked out the 2nd time. it would be awesome if i could get it before the end of the year, i have been without my main head for 2 and a half monthes and most of the fourth quarter of touring. :aww:

If the money is on our account, we will deliver some Herberts
before Christmas. How long do You wait for the repair ?
 
it is at Uwes for the second time, i have waited about 2 and a half or 3 monthes on it. the bad thing is i have done 2 different major label tours without it (as a hired gun), and thats ALOT of people who would have been exposed to your amps. if ya got one i will take it for sure! mine is still with Uwe and the sad thing is he cant get it to act weird, he is working hard to sort out the problem but i really need another one to get through. im leaving again next week for another short tour, i actually just got back in from one group and im now leaving again with another. but i will be back in mid december. PLUS my band has a label showcase in december, it would be great to have the herbert for those :yes:

I waited 30 years for my Herbert! I've played through many high end amps but the Herbert is it for me. Actually I was in the ESP Custom Shop in Japan and they had a Herbert and a VH4 in the store. I bought the Herbert and the 4 X 12 cabinet. Absolutely killer. I love them both and when you hear the amp, you will not remember how long you waited.
