Density and Presence Freq's

Just out of curiosity anyone know what frequencies are effected by the density and presence controls ?

I have some old TOL literature from the mid 90's that states +8db @ 100Hz for density and
+8db @ 4KHz for Presence.

Are these the same specs for the MOD50?

if there was one thing i would change on the TOL 100 it would be the character of the presence.

it has this gritty skinny harshness that to my ear is not very musical, as if the circuit is very solid state and the bandwith of the frequency is too narrow, but interestingly, to the microphone is comes across much nicer, and adds a cool edge and fire.

but in the room i prefer the fatter presence control of a VHT, mesa, or mojave amp.


density however is NICE.
