Detroit Amps??????

I think no news is bad news at this point.

I used to check out this forum on a regular basis, but it's a little too much at times; both tiring to hear the constant complaints about lack of support for the import line, and sad to hear basically nothing from the company.

I've said it a million times: a brief, honest state-of-the-union update every month or two would probably satisfy (and inspire) a lot of us. No promises or teasers of 'something we're working on that's really cool', just tell us what's up on a regular basis and I'd be cool with that. Bruce & co. do not owe us anything, but the crickets chirping is like abandonment. If this goes on for another year, most folks waiting will have moved on to another product.

We've already heard/seen rumors & teasers about the HG line, a budget-friendly modular line, the pedals and the 'Detroit' series, all for over a year now. But lately, the only thing we've heard from the company are limited runs of the M4 and pedal/amp-building seminars.

It is REALLY ridiculous how Egnater markets their products, and then doesn't bring them to market.
I've read of the HG line going on 2 years, and still NOTHING to this day. I was told just this past summer that the HG line had some problems and needed a redesign, and that they would be coming this past October or November. As you know, nothing has come.
I also read that the HG line was cancelled. Both scenario's coming from people at Egnater.

Same is happening with Bruce's 2 new pedals, the Overdose and HolyDriver. They should already be out by now, and yet nothing again.

I don't get it. What design problem could there be after the HG amps were already demonstrated at NAMM?
The pedals were also demonstrated at NAMM, so where in the heck are they already?

The Detroit amps were also shown at NAMM, and once again, NOTHING.
It's almost as if Egnater can't be bothered with actually releasing new products even after they have been shown to the public.
People want these products and yet can't get them.
Damn shame when you have people willing to spend their hard earned money on your products, but you can't deliver.

I don't know how Egnater can stay in business with a lack of product availability along with very poor customer service.
Bruce E. did come on here a few days ago and told us that there is a new person in charge of customer service, at least that's one positive. But we'll have to see if customer service actually improves.
As for new product release, who knows.
