I worked for LN for years. I saw this coming. The centralization of venues, they got big PPP loans to stay afloat, while furloughing damn near everyone for a couple years. Then come back and try to makeup lost budgets for 2020-2021. When I was there typical soft merch split was 85/15 split, with headliners and direct support. Other bands no split. It was an honor system for the most part. The fact they want a larger percentage on merch is sad. Agents have to grow a pair and just say no. I saw the writing on the wall in May 2020, after furloughed I knew I wouldn’t be back. Not because of stated above, but future policies I knew would come down the pipe. Passports, Employee Vax requirements, etc.
