Hi!
Recently, I brought my Einstein home from rehearsal and plugged it in (or at least I thought I plugged it in) my 2x12 cab I use for practice at home.
Turned on the amp played but no sound was coming out of the speakers.
Turned up the master, still nothing.
Immediately I turned off the amp and noticed that the speaker jack wasn't plugged in properly at the cab and that I ran the Einstein for a short moment without any load...
I panicked a little, plugged it in right and and sound was back there.
But I just feel that the tone is different then usual. More tinny, trebly and honky for lack of better words.
The distortion characteristic seems to be different.
I hope I am just imagining that because I'm afraid I damaged my Einstein...
Could I have destroyed some components with my stupid mistake?
Is there something I should check?
I measured bias and it's fine.
No tube fault light, and the amp is still powerfull and doesn't seem to have anymore issues.
Man, I'm really freaking out
Thank you guys!
Best,
Stefan
