I’m so glad this election is over. It seems like they start earlier and earlier every cycle. I’m a hardcore 2A guy but fuck the NRA. They have literally robocalled my house constantly. If kameltoe would have called me up and said “ yo-JBT! You vote for me and I’ll disband the NRA and their telemarketers daddy!!” I probably would have voted for her drunk ass…..?…. Nah fuck that…

I’m a life member and have been for 30 years. I didn’t get any robocalls. Maybe because a couple years ago I told them to fuck off unless they got rid of Wayne LaPierre.
 
GOA has long been the better organization. I am also glad the election is over. They mean less and less to me the more I have found orthodoxy. I made liturgy yesterday and took communion but the road has been treacherous and humbling for me recently. Good morning JBT and Floyd, I pray my friends are well! this a.m!!

Too bad they don’t scare congress at all or have anywhere near the clout the NRA has. With WLP gone and a new board I am hoping the NRA returns to the civil rights org. it once was.

That is exactly what I told them, I’m a life member also but I also support GOA.
It’s not like we have 20 options and the NRA still does some good in the legal battlefield.
I get calls from them but as far as I can remember they are people and I always use that opportunity to air my grievances ?

I have so many questions. Starting with how does he take a piss, and wipe his ass?
 
Man I had an inmate once who was fucked up. I called him t-Rex ?. Fucker was normal in every way except his arms. They were extremely short. I mean odd how short they were. Coming through mainline he struggled with getting a tray or even reaching the tray on top of the tray slide. One day he decided he wanted to try me and started talking shit and yelling at me. I stood there listening until he stopped to take a breath….then I held my finger up and said-“Hey man-how the fuck do you wipe your ass? Do you get a towel in each hand and straddle it and work it up in there while pulling it back and forth?”… he looked at me for a second, dropped his head and left the chow hall. He walked out to a chorus of laughter from the fifty dudes who heard me. You know he started it.. I just told him to take his fucking hat off….ohhh shit…I told him to take his hat off…fuck….he literally had to contort to do that….. well shit…after all these years I figured out what triggered him…shit…?

I know a guy that goes to 12 step meetings, older 50's. Born with no arms. Walks up 2 flights of stairs, eats lunch and reads book material with the group ALL WITH HIS FEET. Opens & closes doors too. My first instinct is to help him but he needs no help.
Another guy currently is blind. He runs 50 miles at a time and has a job, needs help with rides but is amazing.
No matter where you are in life folks have it way worse. No room for bitching.

My bro used to manage granite shop dudes. He had one he nicknamed "midget at arms" cause he looked like they were attached to his shoulders at the elbows. Dude could haul some slabs of granite that would crush most men. Wouldn't have called him that to his face.....
