Did Vai play on Slip of the Tongue?

I downloaded Slip of the Tongue yesterday and the guitar playing sounds very Vai-ish.

Yes. Vandenberg wrote it but couldnt play at the time, so Vai came in and tracked the guitars and played the solos. He was on that tour too...

FWIW, i think it sounds a mess. Vai isnt a good match for whitesnake, but it was a good business move for the band...
