Hi,

I am about to buy a 2x12 cab and I have a hard time choosing between a Diezel or a zilla.
I mainly play metal so I was thinking to go for V30s speakers.

What do you guys recommend? Front Loaded or Rear Loaded? I quite prefer the warmth of the rear loaded.

Also Zilla Fatboy is another option and 350 quit cheaper.
Any information provided is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Personally I prefer Zilla cabinets over Diezel cabinets. I had all the different configurations of Diezel cabinets for a long time but in the end the Zilla 4x12 worked the best for me.

Having said that, the Diezel cabinets are still very high quality. It comes down to personal taste.

Yeah, I heard that zillas are very nice but i ve never tried one.
I did try the Diezel cabs FL and RL. Really liked the RL.
I use a Diezel Hagen by the way. sorry forgot to mention above.

I am leaning towards the Zilla though as all I hear about it is good words plus they are value for money.

I too have a Zilla fatboy 2x12 (have had it 3/4 years)  and love it equally with most other high end cabs, i find that it shines best at mid volumes where the cab itself adds to the sound etc where as Diezel is good overall at all volume levels and built to with-stand high volume and bottom end that the Herberts can really kick out, at the end of the day its down to you and your tone type?
I have Diezel 4x12 FL and find its the tightest sounding cab i have yet to play through and will not influence the tone coming out the amp.

Only real down-side to zilla cabs is the re-sale value is crap. (not because of the cab etc but because its not a well known brand or Artist endorsed yet) that being said, mine's a keeper.

my 2 cents.
