I would appreciate any information anyone could give me. Financial times are tough, so I am reluctantly trying to sell my Diezel 412 cabinet. I have been asked if it is front or rear loaded, and I don't know. I bought it in 2002 and I don't even remember that there was a choice. The serial number is 070821 and it still has the tag on it which says "V412 8 ohm celstion V30". Thanks in advance

usually/most of the time, if it has a salt n pepper grill its rear loaded, and if its got a black grill its front loaded

Look at the back of the cab and see if there are any silver screws around the edge of the cab. If there are, it is rear loaded. Also, if the front grill cloth is angled a bit from top to bottom it is rear loaded. If the grill cloth is flat (top to bottom) then it is front loaded. If it is front loaded, the grill cloth will have two tabs that you can pull to take the front grill off. Hope this helps :)

I was just going to say that when you stand in front of the cab while playing it, does it sound good? Then stand in back of the cab while playing it, does it sound good?

If so then you have a Diezel hermaphrodite cab, and they are very rare. :aww: Hang on to it!
