I'm just a little scared as I won Diezel 4x12 fl with v30's on ebay last night for the good price I couldn't resist, never played or tried Diezel cab before not easy to find one always Mesa recto 4x12 which I've been always happy with but as you all guitarists know there is always room to improve your sound looking for something new to ad to your rig. Can't afford and don't have room for both unfortunately at the moment and only one cab will stay. (I really hope it is Diezel)
What I want you guys to do is to tell me how great Diezel 4x12 fl cabs are if they are and how you compare it to Mesa 4x12 oversized cab. I'll use it for live, recording situations. I play metal heavy rock and Captain Herbert is my main amp

Is it the Germany made Diezel cab? Cause if it is, you've scored...big time..I own 3 Mesa cabs and 2 Diezel cabinets. One Diezel cab is FL with v30's and the other is FL with G12K-100's and I can honestly tell you that those Diezel cabinets are like nothing I've ever heard. They can hold the Herbert's massive thump like nothing else.....rest at ease...

This

I have been using this combo for a year or so and it's THE BEST sound I have ever had. Stage, rehearsal, whatever...I personally like the V30's on the bottom and the K100's on the top. It's a killer stack
If you don't like the Diezel, for some reason (hard to imagine), you can easily resell it.

What is better than? You still keep the Mesa

My Mesa cabs are in the corner collecting dust. Its a shame cause they have the side armor option too...I'm totally sold on the Diezel cabinets as this year I plan to order another 4......

It's been a very long time, but when I first got my Herbert I had to run it through a mesa recto cab. They did not pair well IMHO. Bass was loose and had to crank the mids to get it "balanced" to my ears.
