Diezel 4x12's !!! Question...

I played a Diezel 4x12 rear loaded with these emminence speakers... It sounded killer and reminded me of my VHT cabs...


What exact speakers are these and anybody have any more infor about these speakers/cabs???

I thought they we smooth, fat and punchy like my VHT fatbottom cabs... TheDiezel V-30 cab sounded like fuzz and fix with no where near as much clairlty as the Diezel emminence loaded cab...

I'm thinking of buying two of those Diezel cabs today...

You are referring to the old cabinets I gather, with salt and pepper cloth. That cabinet is no longer made nor do we use that speaker. We think it sounds not so good. We have completely redesigned our cabinets in every way so if you like the old cabinets you will surely love the new ones. Feel free to PM me and we can talk further to see what would work best for what you are looking for.

+1 . I have both the older & new Diezel cabs. My old cab sounds awesome...but the newer cab just totally cooks. My old FL cabinet has the V30/Diezel Eminence in the X Pattern. The new FL has 4 G12K100s Get with Terry. He will not steer you wrong.

I wish that we were closer so I could hear one of the new cabs so that I could hear this difference myself that everybody is talking about. The older cabs blow everything else away, I know we live in the same state but theres a 3 to 4 hour travel time there... H&H

Guys, I know the older cabs were good......real good, however there is no comparison with the new ones. I know it sounds like nonsense talk but I assure you it is not. The new cabs are very very good. The Front loaded and rear loaded are simply stunning.

What are the GK100's like played at home levels? I'm intrigued by one. Got a rl Hempcone and a fl V30 already and they make a brilliant stack But I'm a gear whore, and there is always sometrhing else to try

Jeeeezussss, Steve - why don't ya tell us how you REALLY feel...!?!?!

As for the G12K100 FL, I bit the bullet and ordered one a couple weeks back (c'mon Andy, wtf...!?!?!) and just figured all this talk couldn't be wrong, so hey, buy it. I have a RL G12H30 loaded cab right now and it's smooth, brown, vintagy and loud. I imagine the new one will make me sterile when played past noon on the dials.

That sounds great you are more than welcome to come over check things out, and please bring the new cab along I will be all ears. Hopefully the new uber with kt88's will be here it's do in august before you get a chance to get here so you can check it out. I also have the 20th anni shiva on it's way here as I write this. Ive got that old cabinet and it DOES sound great! Better than anything ive played except my bogner 1X12 ported cab with rocker 80 speakers.
I really DO need to try the new ones though...
I may be selling my old one soon fyi. if you are interested.
