Diezel & Bogner Effects Loops?

I use the serial loop on both my Diezel Einstein & Bogner Shiva with a Rocktron Intellifex. I was wondering if anyone might be able to explain to me why there is such a drastic difference between how they react even though they are the same type of loop? The Einstein's loop seems to let more of the original amp tone shine through with the effects more in the background which I really like. However, on the Shiva, the effects seem to be way more out front and pronounced even though the settings on the effects unit are the same?

BTW, the Shiva is a new model with the updated loop that doesn't require that old special cable.................

Its a question of impedance and circuit conception. I'm not familiar with the newer Shiva, but the older Shiva loop was a joke, plain and simple.
Try to use different settings for both - or use a parallel fx box for the Bogner (http://www.nobels.com) to improve its attitude.

I don't know what the heck is up with that, but I don't like the loop on my XTC either.

Sell the Shiva and the Einstein and get a Herbert.

…Problem solved! :D
