...just received my Diezel Rear Loaded Cab (used) It looks mint but I know from previous owner the V30 were installed in place of the stock speakers. I want to be sure it is still an 8ohm cab (taking no chances with my VH4).

Can anyone confirm wiring is still 8ohm?

The V30's are 8ohm each, and wired "+ into -" The blurry pic of the back of the jack plate look stock for sure and I will be using the "mono" 8 ohm cabinet jack into the VH4 1x8ohm jack.

You can't change the speaker load by re-wiring the connections.

Attached is a shot of one of my Diezel 4x12 cabs running at 8-Ohm - yours is the same, mine is just a little cleaner. :D

thanks King Crimson! So your speakers are 8ohm not 16 ohm each right?

If your speakers are 8 ohm, the cab is wired 2x8 Ohm series (16 Ohm) and those two pairs parallel (8 Ohm).

So its mono 8 Ohm or when both jacks are used (stereo) 2 x 16 Ohm.

Diezel cabs have the polyfill material in the back? Cool.

Mine has that stuff on its backplate.

 I don't know then, cause mine didn't. Your's was probably made in Europe and mine the US though.

Yes. I use Diezel 2x(4x12's) each running at 8-Ω, therefore I plug them into the two outs of each 4-Ω connection on Herbert. As Peter says, "Just do what it says on the jacks, and you’ll be fine"...

How much does it change the sound of the cab if it`s filled with the polyfill or not?

Hey, I do not have a screw through the back panel into the center cab support. I have seen pics of diezel cabs that do. Anyone know why?

That's interesting, I found a bag of weed stapled to my backplate. I ended up stuffing it in a little cloth pouch and threw it to my two cats, they went bonkers over it...

That's only if the cab has a potency issue. Otherwise they are bare naked and ready to perform.

That's because it's much colder in Europe than in the USA.

Now that looks 1 to 1 similar to Bogner 4x12. So which version of Diezel cabs is this one?

It's clearly a Diezogner!
