I am looking to buy a cabinet. I live in Monterey, CA and as far as I can tell wildwestguitars is the closest place with a good selection. They sell the 4x12 front and rear loaded versions for a litle over $1000. Does that seem right? I noticed they sell for 1050 EUROS overseas. Seems odd that the price in the states would be lower. Just want to make sure I am getting an authentic diezel cabinet.

Peter - if you are reading this, do you have any experience with wildwestguitars in Riverside, CA?

Froehliche Weihnacten,

brian

I have done much business with Wild West Guitars and they are a solid store.

Jump on it, quick...before I get it! :D

Damn - you are in San Diego! You have me beat by 5 hours!

Check GC too. The one here had a rear-loaded one on clearance for $899 until Flavatrocious got it.

I got my VH4 from Wildwest last month.

Get a Diezel (2x12 or 4x12), Brian - and quit agonizing over the foreseeable.

What do you all think of the 2x12 versus 4x12? Keep in mind I mainly do home recording. I am not gigging and if I was it would not be a huge venues where the power of a 4x12 would be preferable.

I tried hard to like a 2x12 once and would have been completely satisfied until I a/b with my 4x12. The 2x12 sounded really good but it was missing something (maybe 2 speakers   )
