I want to run to heads into one cab like my mesa cab,can I do this w diezel cabs?

it only has two jacks.... what should i run em 4 ohms out of each head or 8 ?

Yep. The newer cabs, well, I've only seen newer cabs so "to the best of my knowledge" the Diezel cabs have 2 inputs, one mono and the other stereo. I have a VH4S, which is essentially 2 amps - I typically run it into 1 stereo (2 input) Diezel cab each lead at 16ohm impedance. When I play live, I use 2 cabs, and run each lead at 8 ohms (the other cab isn't a Diezel...just a mono 8 ohm 4x12).

V.

if you want to run two heads into one stereo diezel cab...its 16 ohms on each input.

16 per head cool.I run Herbert. N roadster together don't always have room for 2 cabs

My 2x12s and 4x12s are all stereo...8ohm mono, 16= when you split the speakers up in the cabs.

ok i put each head 16 ohm out into each input, it dont work.one head works the other one doesnt? why?

Both my cabs say 8ohm mono or 16 ohm for the two inputs.but running two heads into one cab ain't working why?

The only thing that comes to mind is to check the wiring of the cab.
I don't have experiece with Diezel cabs (yet ) but I know there are some cabs from other manufacturers that have two input jacks but they are just wired parallel so you can pass on the signal to a second cab.

It says on back of cab input only do not connect other speakers

all you can do to be sure is open it up and check the wiring.

When I get home but two cabs both wrong???

That would be really weird and extremely unlikely but I lack a better explanation. What you could do to find out whats wrong without taking the cabs apart is measure the resistance of the cabs if you have a multimeter at hand. Just plug one (or two for stereo) cable in the cabs and measure resistance. I just tried it with my 2x12 and the values shoud be a little less than the actual impedance. I measured 6.6 Ohms (what should be 8) in mono mode and 13.0 Ohms (should be 16) on each side in stereo mode.

Ha Found it, there was a wire broke off one of the speakers... Now its workin, this cabinet came from terry at Diezel Usa, I just bought it off a guy on the rigtalk, its a new german front load w k100s.

Damn, I hope the wrong impedance went without consequences. Now that you mention it I remember a post where someone claimed that he had received a wrongly wired cab from Diezel USA. I don't know if this is true but I would still check the wiring and impedance of the cab just to make sure everything is alright.

Chris, my one cab came wired out of phase from Diezel USA...so nothing seems to amaze me anymore. Enjoy ur cab!!!

how is it supposed to b wired seams like it goes positive to negative back to jack
