So I was driving past Weymouth today for work and thought I would stop by and see what they had.
I knew he had a Friedman BE-100 so that was a good enough reason to swing by, not to mention Jay and Matt are very cool and will help you with any questions you may have. Anyway, I played the BE-100 and thought man this is really nice! I am use to Diezel because I own the VH4 and Herbert so it was a completely different beast than what I am use to. It was the best Marshall hot rod amp tone I have ever heard with tons of options. As I am playing Jay tells me he just got in the D-Moll and was still boxed up, of course I asked if I could try it
So they let me play it and I was blown away by the tone this thing put out.
I ran the D-Moll with a Tremonti PRS and a 4x12 Bogner Ubercab and this setup was balls to the wall! I wanted to bring all of them home so bad but if I did my wife would kill me.
The D-Moll sounds like a mix of the VH4 and the Herbert, It is perfect! I would buy this in a second if I had the cash.
If your thinking of picking up a Diezel head this is a very good choice, the price is a lot less than a new VH4 or Hebert.
Also you don't have to push the volume super high to get a great tone from the power tubes. The KT77's
So if you want a D-Moll Matt has one in stock!
Better hurry before I figure out a way to but it!
