Hello
I'm new to forum and joined specifically to get some information as my diezel Einstein has started to make some undesired noises. Firstly I will say, the amp is tonal ecstasy. Like angels (or devils) whispering into your ear! But at band practice I noticed a little bit of crackling in my channel 2 gain dial. Upon closer inspection I noticed it was on channel 1 also but only when the channel was selected respectively. I also noticed when you touched the dial of each gain when selected the sound almost sounded as if it were grounding. I bought the amp from new just over a year and a half ago. I have a fantastic tech near me but I wanted to ask some advice first. I have emailed peter but no reply as yet and I thought here may be a cool place to start. Also, the day I noticed this problem, the amp blew a fuse but was replaced and hasn't done so since and was played extensively today and did not do so again. I think it may have been a power surge maybe where we practice. Any thoughts/advice appreciAted.
Many thanks
Connor
