hey guys after buying my vh4 last week my einstein 100 head has been sitting there doing nothing, thought id fire it up and have a play, turned it on left on standy for a bit then turned on to play and bang the inner valve fuse went bang and shattered! is this the fuse just blown or time for new valves?? from what i know the valves arent that old . less than a year old it currently has 6550s in and ill prob put in some el34s. my amp has the external bias how hard is it to rebias the amp as ive never done it before but with the external bias it seems i should be able to do this myself! or should i just go to a tech!

thanks in advance for any help!

Sorry to hear that, but tubes lasts 2 seconds or 20 years.

Please go with the EL34BHT and replace fuses.
Biasing of course.

Best,

Peter

We cannot recommend to service the amp by the
customer itself. It´s a matter of German law.
I´m sure the guys will explain or send an email to:
