Hallo everybody!

I'm about to buy an Einstein and recently saw a picture of its guts somewhere around the www.
I noticed an IC on the board of the serial/parallel loop. Is the loop solid state? I thought Diezels would be "all tube". I'm not fanatic about that, just curious. Somebody knows, what this IC is used for?

Thank you!
Best regards,
Stefan

As we live in the 21. century we use controller chips
to switch the relays ;)

The signal flow is tubes, resistors, caps and gold contacted
relais ;)

The loop is designed with 2 tubes (4 stages) !!!!
