Hello guys,
i am ecstatic. I unpacked my new Einstein 100 Watt amp head for about 2 hours ago and played............
Man..... i just lack words. I rembered that amp being "the shit" from trying it in a store for about a year ago. At that time i tried the combo and it floored every other amp i played there.
So now i played the amp at "bedroom level" with my axes: Ibanez JS1, Ibanez Jem FP, Ibanez AT300 and a Fender YJM.
What can i say. I can`t absolutely imagine of a better amp than this one. For me there is every desireable tone in that little wonder. Responds terrific dependend on which guitar you play with it. You want Malmsteen. Take a Fender YJM and you are there, want Satch, Vai, Bonamssa,SRV, Timmons no problem. And that thing has that violinesque fat tone with tons of sustain. Vais Hands on heart right out of the box.
I played a lot of other amps out there from Mesas, Cornfords, Bogners, Marshalls,Engls, Elmwoods, and more.
I have a Peavey JSX which is a nice amp, no disregard Joe- but the Peavey is absolutely no match for the Einstein. So what more to say. The clean, yeah, just wonderful.
I have a Ramirez Elite 1a classical guitar which costs a shitload of money. When you compare what you pay for a little tonal upgrade from a good classical guitar to a high end concert guitar you can confidently say that the Einstein is a gift. So if you are on the verge of buying an Einstein- don`t hesitate. It is that good.
Best regards Andy
By the way shall download some stuff as soon as i have gotten my interface.
And Peter you ARE a GENIUS
