Hi everyone,

Just recently got a Diezel Einstein 100W head. Awesome, awesome , awesome tone. Very versatile channel 1.

I have a bunch of questions.

First: Are winged C El34's the best choice? Any cheaper alternatives?

Second: What is the value on the tube fuses? Are the both 5A. On the back of the amp it says "0,5A"

Third: Where can I get a foot switch. I emailed Peter Stapfer and asked him and all he asked me was where I was located. I replied with my address and that was it. Never got a specific response back. I was looking on Weber Speakers site and they got a 2 button foot switch that looks exactly like the diezel for $20. Heres the link:

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

1. It's subjective. Mr. Diezel recommends ruby el34bht. I love those in my Einstein. They're probably some of the most reliable on the market too. On the cheap JJ's aren't bad. Just not as reliable.

2. Fuses are 500mA (1/2 an amp) not 5 amp!

3. Any latching footswitch will work. Weber will be fine. I would email Peter S. Again and ask if you can order one. You might have to follow up.

Welcome to the board and enjoy the amp! You got one of the best for sure!!
