Hi i recently purchased a Einstein head, I don't like at all how it sounds with my Marshall 1960ax with greenbacks. I love the head though. I play mostly hard rock and 80's metal. I like a tight bass response but don't play nu metal or drop tunning at all.

I was considering buying a new cabinet, there are so many choices of front loaded vs rear. I know I want some V30 in there but don't know if an X would be good as well...

I really don't have the chance to try them here in Argentina so I pretty much have to buy basing myself on this forum, reviews, soundclips, etc

What do you guys think is the best configuration for a Diezel cab, for this type of music I play and for overall versatility, for ocasionally playing clean and classic rock as well...

Thanks a lot.

By the tunes you play I would say rear loaded with either V30s or Hempcones.

I would say rear-loaded as well,,,I think if it was me I would try a couple of V30s mixed with the GBs first, might save some money on buying another cab.

I agree..rearloaded and v30. ;)

I wouldn't count out front loaded v30's. I have an einey 100w and I've tried tons of combinations jaguar 75's g12t-75s 7080's v30s and k100s. All both front and rear loaded in a few cabs. My best sound so far has been old broken in v30s front loaded. They win on 95% of the sounds I can make the Einstein do. YMMV
