Diezel Herbert and MIDI Phantom Power

Hey guys, I've been using my POD HD500 for midi switching the Herbert for some time without problems. Today I realized that the 5 pin cable I'm using has all the pins connected and I know the MIDI In of Herbert provides phantom power. Do you think I should change the cable to a 3 pin one? Could it have damaged the POD?

I don't think so, those PINs used for phantom power are not used in units which don't work with Phantom Power.

I am sure it should be OK if the pod doesn't accept phantom. I run a 5 pin from my VH4 to a ENGL Z12 midi controller and that doesn't accept phantom power. At least not with its current pin layout.

I am sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in
