My singer and I were writing the other night and I wanted to play at some pretty low volumes. He was amazed at the harmonic content, depth and warm tone at those volumes, this is something no other amp i have had has come close to touching.....

I am so mad it took me so long to give Diezel a chance, this could have saved me a lot of money if I had started here.

Peter you

That's good to hear :) Do any of you guys have any idea what a 50 watt einstein combo is like at lower volumes? Hopefully much the same..

every diezel i have ever played sounded awesome @ low volumes...and even better @ higher volumes!!!

Man..........its so cool to see I am not the only one SUPER HAPPY with the new Diezel!

I love mine and its going NO WHERE!!
We played a 5 hour set yesterday....and it went Flawless!
Every song we played came across perfect and I wasnt always 'playing' with the settings like other amps.
I love it.....and my band mates love it!
Yes......for the 1st time EVER.....I am a Fanboi........

LONG LIVE DIEZEL!!!!!! :rawk:

90-95% of my playing time is low... and it does sounds good

My Diezel is out in the Jam room. I dont get out there much except when we play as a band......so 95% of the time its at GIG level and it KICKS SERIOUS ASS!
Nothing going to take its spot. :gethim:

I used to have a 100wt Einstein head & it sounded even better than the Herbert at low volumes.

That's great, dude.

I would never buy a Herbert for low volume use alone, but I would buy it for playing with a band/gigging and home practise. ;)

The only other amp I played that had a higher wattage rating was a Blackstar Series One 200 and that sounded nice at low volumes but didn't come close to a Herbert. It was an awesome amp, though.

You never know...... ;)

My herbert also sounds great at low volumes in every way... BUTTTTTT
My Einstein lacks the harmonics at lower volumes that it only gets when you give it some volume.
It still sounds good and all, but, id have to say between the two, the herbert is better at low volumes.. at least between the 2 diezels i have

No worries here, low volume is a plus, the gigging volumes are where it is and what I got it to use for, as well as destroying small cities when necessary!

Not sure why anybody would buy an amp like this for low volume playing, but if they did they would get a good one.

I have one and it is amazingly beautiful to listen too at ANY volume.
Sweat it not! You will always be happy with the decision to buy any Diezel amp.

I can get feedback at low volume and any tone the amp can deliver. It has been a great amp to be using in clubs and situations where large cabs are not needed. It takes added cabs and can kick some serious voulme ass, both with and without extension speakers.

Case in point, i play out at small venues all the time and its always like a dream to play through.
Last night i rocked the house with my Einstein at a relatively low volume just playing to backing tracks and original stuff!
Sooo much fun! People wonder why i lug around that amp just to play a few songs but the tone is so worth it.
You just have to tweak the eq's and gain differently at lower volumes. This is ALWAYS the case though with all amps ive ever played. Lots of people dont understand how tone changes at higher and lower volumes. I think i got this one figured out though.. finally,.

I dunno who said this first, but Herbert is THE $5,000 practice amp. :)

My brother was over from Cali for a week and jacked his Washburn HM custom into it and was totally floored by its low-volume tones. He says he hates his 5150 now. :D
